Backgammon is a wonderful board game. The game, where there is continuous tension and fight of strategies, is one of the favorites in a gambling den. It has all the ingredients that inspire the players.

The common game has grown into many variations and some of them give real fight to the original. Backgammon is a game of luck played with dice but it also has elements of chess. The decisive moments are one too many and often the game goes right to the very end.

The Domino BackGammon and the Grasshopper are two skilful variations where the dice are replaced. The Dutch and French games have the checkers off the game at the start. The Russian BackGammon makes it more of a race with both players starting on the same sides.

HyperGammon and LongGammon are the short and long of BackGammon. In the former, only three checkers are used while in the latter, all the checkers start from the first spire.
